Cinnamon Rolls

The other day I took a trip to the mall with my mom and I came across the ever so tempting Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll shop but I forced myself to walk away from the sweet goodness of a chewy gooey cinnamon roll.  Later that night cinnamon rolls were still on my mind so I decided to make my own in the hopes that they would be even better than the ones I passed up earlier that day.  This was the outcome of my craving and in my opinion this recipe has mastered the Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll from its melty gooey filling to the sweet cream cheese frosting.  I hope you get the chance to try these out for yourself.

Cheesy Lasagna Rolls

Pasta was on our minds the other night and these rolls are perfect! These rolls are so easy to make, are filling and delicious.  You start with making the white sauce for the bottom, then the delicious cheese and spinach filling, you roll, spread the sauce, sprinkle the cheese and bake!  These were so good, here is the recipe if you would like to try these out for yourself!
enjoy!

Crepes with Nutella and Strawberries

My boyfriend, his cousins and I had a bit of a sweet tooth the other night so we decided to try making some crepes.  They were surprisingly easy and quick to make and were, in my opinion, better than any store bought kind we have ever had.  My boyfriend's cousin and I have a large sweet tooth (maybe all of our teeth are sweet haha) and have become quite the crepe connoisseurs.  We have tried a place at the beach, a place at the mall and finally, these tasty crepes.  I got the recipe here, so if you would like to enjoy these tasty treats be my guest.

Mango Salsa...

Today was the official last day of class before finals week and it turned out to be a really accomplished day.  I took one final, got my grade back for my debate I presented and turned in a BIG project for one of my classes.  I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders as the day comes to a close.  For dinner we decided to have fish tacos which called for a good mango salsa.  I found this recipe online and it turned out really really good.  The salsa had diced mango, cucumber, red onion, and jalapeno, chopped cilantro, lime juice and salt and pepper.  This was a great additive for the tacos, I hope you get the chance to try it!

Finals Week

The symptoms of finals week are as follows: the infected may experience lack of time, lack of sleep, lack of style, lack lack lack...and so on.  I am experiencing all symptoms of finals week syndrome and I hope to get better soon.  Because my mind is somewhere else I have not really been focusing on my wardrobe which is a real drag, sooooo I went with the alternative.  POLYVORE! The big closet of everything you want and wish you had! I created this outfit in honor of the spring season! Its coming and after I have recovered I hope to do some spring shopping. But for now this is what im working with...let me know what you think.

Caffe Primo

Yesterday, Steven (boyfriend) and I decided that we wanted to go hang out in LA for the day.  It was so relaxing just hanging out free of obligations or worries.  We went to Caffe Primo for lunch and it was soo delicious.  Too bad its kind of far away from my house. I ordered a veggie pizza and Steven ordered the chicken and egg white brown rice bowl.  The weather was beautiful and the Caffe had the perfect vibe.  We even saw a celebrity, a strange occurrence for those of us who do not live in big cities.  Its crazy how different the atmosphere can be if you drive an hour and a half away from your city, I suggest you try it sometime. I will definitely visit Caffe Primo again and I hope you all have the chance to go as well.

Zoo Food

Today me and my boyfriend went to the LA Zoo! And to go along with our day with the wildlife, I decided to make a natural healthy snack to eat while we were there.  This isn't really a recipe but it is really tasty and worth making.  First you core one apple and cut it in horizontal rounds, you spread peanut butter on one side of two pieces of apple, sprinkle granola on one piece and then sandwich both apples together. These were so easy and sooo tasty.  Im thinking about adding bananas in the mix as well.  I hope you get the chance to try these tasty treats and to say farewell for the night I posted a few of my favorite pictures from the day. Enjoy!

Unearthed Treasures

I was spending time in my school library today (supposed to be) doing homework, when I decided to wander the isles.  Eventually, I ended up in the fashion section, which holds hundreds of books on style,  designers, home decor and so on.  This is when I decided it would be great to share some of my findings with you all.  I found multiple photos that caught my eye and that I thought you would like.  Let me know how you feel about the photos, I would love to hear your opinions!

ps...Sorry for the bad quality my camera died and I was forced to used my cell phone.
