Red Velvet Cupcakes!

The other day was my little sister's birthday so we had a party for her and some of her friends. As the one who likes to bake in the family, I took on the responsibility of making the birthday treat of her choice, as you can see, she chose red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  I have never made red velvet cupcakes before and thought that they would be a challenging recipe to take on, but surprisingly it was quite simple.  I am personally not the biggest fan of red velvet cupcakes (I like a cupcake with a lot more sweetness and flavor) so I am not the best judge on the flavor, but all I can say is that there was not one cupcake left over. Cream cheese frosting is a different story, it is my favorite frosting hands down.  This recipe for cream cheese frosting was basic but turned out delicious and in my opinion complimented the cupcakes very well.  If you like red velvet cupcakes (which most people do) I would definitely try this recipe out because by the look of the empty serving platter, they were pretty tasty! Here is the recipe!
Enjoy!
XOXO
